French Toast with Pine Syrup No.2
This is a delicious way to start any day.
You will need:
- America Village Apothecary Pine Syrup No.2
- 2 slices stale white bread (at least two days old)
- 1 egg
- Drop of milk
- Cinnamon (optional)
- Smoked Rashers (optional)
- Red currants (optional)
- Icing Sugar to dust.
Whisk the egg and add a drop of milk and a pinch of cinnamon.
Soak your bread slices in the mixture and then fry on each side in a pan until golden. Grill your rashers whilst your toast is frying.
Place your French Toast on a plate. Top with cooked rashers and red currants.
Drizzle Pine Syrup No.2 all over and dust with icing sugar.
