The Tasting Club

A curated tasting experience.
SEEDS - With Special Guest Madeline McKeever, founder of @brownenvelopeseeds based in West Cork.

Held on the last Monday of every month and curated by @buadh the #tastingclub is a collaboration with @grapecircus and @bia.botanica each event will be curated to explore a different theme around the connection between taste, nature and community.
The Tasting Club is an intimate experience. We arrange the space into 2 long tables, this way people can experience new tastes and flavours in a relaxed communal setting.

The food will comprise of 3 small tastings. You will be handed an Aperitif on arrival. The wine tasting will comprise of natural wines served with and to compliment each tasting, with an explanation of each.
The theme for our February Tasting Club is going to explore the wonderful world of SEEDS, and we are delighted to have Madeline joining us from Brown Envelope Seeds based on the Turk Head Peninsula in West Cork.

Brown Envelope Seeds grow all their own seeds on their farm which are open pollinated and are certified organic by the Organic Trust Ltd. €45 book via website or call into @tastingroom_galway

Finally got round to using one of the fantastic products I got from @americavillage_galway , first up I used their great Smoked Spruce syrup in a simple riff on the gimlet to show off the flavour of the syrup! You couldn't bait it with a big stick!

50ml @tanqueraygin Rangpur Lime Gin
25ml @americavillage_galway Smoked Spruce Syrup
15ml Fresh Lemon Juice
Shake, serve over ice or straight up. Express lemon peel and garnish with thyme.
